Ill educate you on how the brain operates in associate with your unhealthy thoughts. Oh and your emotions are tied to this stuff too!
Like depression, we will understand what the body is saying. Identify and challenge your fear to move forward. Now if there is no true "fear" we will learn coping skills to reduce the body symptoms that limit you from your every day life.
That's POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD)
It is limiting and debilitating. It's like you been robbed of your past you. You know the one before the traumatic situation. You wish things were back to normal.
You know, the body symptoms are like what you have when you are depressed and anxious.
Once again, let's understand the symptoms, the body ones and the emotional ones.
We will learn to reduce the body symptoms while normalize you after the trauma. Through processing your thoughts. Its like grief. We will go through the stages.
Ultimately, I will help you understand the grief, your thoughts, and emotions. Together we will develop a plan and ways to cope with your life after the trauma.
That's loss or what we call GRIEF!
Any time there is a loss or a change, you are essentially grieving.
You could be shocked, didn't see that coming. Or say to yourself what or why? If I didn't.... or have the depressed feels?
You will learn about grief and how it is affecting you. I will help you alleviate those what if thoughts. While learning how to live life with loss or changes.
Be rest assured this is temporary and you will be back to your resilient you in no time.

Did you know using (substances) just numbs the problems and emotions. You will need to address your problems and learn how to cope with them.
