What's all this about?

Situated in Orange Park, Florida, within the NE Florida region, the office is dedicated to supporting individuals and underserved populations, catering to their unique desires and interests. The center's physical location was set up in 2020, just before the world faced closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To expand our reach and accessibility, we have also established a strong online presence, ensuring that our resources and support are available to anyone seeking guidance and assistance. Our mission is to create a safe and affirming space for personal growth and empowerment.
Let's Talk Openly came into existence as a result of the founder's Masters thesis project, which shed light on the lack of social support for alternative sexualities within the age range of 25-55 and how this lack of support contributes to risky and harmful behaviors. Driven by the aim to bridge this gap and cater to the underserved, the organization was established with a vision to offer comprehensive services.
In addition to providing integral support services, Let's Talk Openly offers coaching, classes, and workshops  that address various aspects of relationship, intimacy, sexual, and intrapersonal development.

Hi! My name is Thuydy Nguyen (pronounced Tweety Union. I wanted to have an affirming, supportive and inclusive platform that offers information and resources on love, relationships, sex, intimacy, and provide psychotherapy services. 

I am  first generation born Vietnamese American. My parents are refugees who paid their way onto a fishing boat to escape Vietnam in the late 70’s. I grew up in a “do as I say” type of culture. In my culture, women are submissive and they just do as they are asked. I always felt like I had to live up to that submissive role. Up until my late 30’s, I was afraid to question and talk about things that were not of my norm. I wanted to change that and help others embrace their true self.   

Of course, I too, followed in my family’s foot steps. I did not want to bring shame to the family. And then I deviated from the path....

And this is where the journey begins!
