My goal is to provide quality mental health care to all my clients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only to the clinician, but to our other clients as well. Please be aware of the policy regarding missed appointments.
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on the calendar that is no longer available to the other clients. In order to be respectful of your fellow clients, please call or text 904-834-1341 as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call or teX at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made the day of the appointment will be charged for the full session regardless of whether you use insurance to pay for sessions.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call or text me at 904-834-1341. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. I will return your call as soon as possible.
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time.
A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the patient the entire fee of the booked session missed.
For new client's first appointments, a no show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the new patient fee.
In the event that I have to cancel our appointment within the 24 hour window and we can’t reschedule within the same week, I offer a no-charge cancellation.
