You may leave a message at any time on my confidential voicemail at 904-834-1341. 

If you wish for me to return your call, please be sure to leave your name and phone number(s), along with a brief message concerning the nature of your call.

Non-urgent phone calls are generally returned within 24 hours during normal workdays (Monday through Friday) between 9 am thru 8:00 pm. 

Please understand that as a solo, outpatient practitioner, I am unable to personally provide continuous 24-hour crisis services. 

In the event of a medical emergency or an emergency involving a threat to your safety or the safety of others, please call 911 to request emergency assistance, go to the nearest emergency room, and/or call the Florida Crisis line at 211.

 You can also go directly to a hospital emergency room for evaluation.

 If I am unavailable for an extended time, I will provide you with the name of a qualified colleague to contact if necessary.   

Due to the importance of your confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on any social networking site (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). 

I believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and our respective privacy. It may also blur the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship.

 If you have questions about this, please bring them up when we meet and we can talk more about it.  

 I cannot ensure the confidentiality of any form of communication through electronic media, including text messages.

 If you prefer to communicate via email or text messaging for issues regarding scheduling or cancellations, I will do so. While I may try to return messages in a timely manner, I cannot guarantee immediate response and request that you do not use these methods of communication to discuss therapeutic content and/or request assistance for emergencies.
